MADALYN R. MCBRIDE, 86, of Jasonville, IN passed away at 7:31 p.m. Friday, September 5, 2014 in Union Hospital in Terre Haute, IN.
She was born July 4, 1928 in Sullivan, IN to Rev. Basil Hayes and Anna (Lawhorn) Hayes.
Madalyn’s husband of over 50 years, Ralph McBride passed away on August 11, 2005.
Survivors include her sons & daughters-in-law, James & Jeannine McBride of Frost Proof, FL and Ron & Shelia McBride of Bloomfield, IN; grandchildren, Bret McBride, Trent McBride, Lyndi & Art Wooten, Grant & Melissa McBride; great-grandchildren, Talen McBride, Mariah Wooten, Krislyn Wooten, Grady McBride & Graham McBride; several nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Vivian Rambis; brother, Edward Hayes.
Madalyn had attended and was a member of Jasonville First Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and had retired from TRW. Madalyn always enjoyed time with her grandkids and following their activities. She enjoyed sports.
Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Private Family Graveside Services were scheduled at Lebanon Cemetery in keeping with her wishes.
Interment was at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, IN.
