ROBERT I. “BOB” MEDLOCK, 85, of Jasonville, Indiana passed away at 10:35 p.m. Thursday, June 26, 2014 in Greene County General Hospital, Linton, IN.
He was born August 2, 1928 in Muncie, IN to John Thomas Erdle and Pearl Mae (Judson) Erdle Medlock.
Bob married Betty R. (Keagy) Medlock on October 7, 1954 and she passed away on October 5, 2010.
Survivors include his son, Michael Medlock of Jasonville, IN; step-sons, Richard Pentland of Jasonville, IN, Paul David McDonald of Cicero, IN; granddaughters, Ashley and Leslie; step-grandson, Steven.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Betty Medlock; sisters, Doris Farris, Rosalie Moss.
Bob owned and operated his own barber shop for 60+ years. He was a U.S. WWII Army Veteran.
Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation was scheduled from 10 – 1 Service Time Monday July 7, 2014 at the Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service followed at 1 p.m. Monday, July 7, 2014 at the Cox Funeral Home with Pastor Sam Bush officiating.
Interment was at Peavey Cemetery in Howesville, IN.
