MICHAEL GERARD JONES, 64, of Jasonville, IN passed away at 7:33 P.M. Friday, May 28, 2021 in Southwood Nursing Home in Terre Haute, IN.
He was born June 21, 1956 in Louisville, KY to Floyd Jones and Margaret (Mahan) Jones.
Survivors include his children, Dawn Mitchell Jones of Jasonville, IN, Amber Branson (Paul) of Clinton, IN, Michael LeClere (Ashley) of Sullivan, IN; former wife, Debbie Jones of Clinton, IN; grandchildren, Brayden Jones (Nylashia), Brooke LeClere, Keegan LeClere, Kaelyn LeClere, Bryanna Delaney, Bryleigh Delaney, Gabriel Branson, Nicholas Branson; great-grandchild, Zyaire Jones; siblings, Raymond Jones (Brenda) of Linton, IN, Ann Ehrheart of Carlisle, IN, Geri Kay Sexton of Jasonville, IN; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, George “Bussy” Jones, Robert “Bobby” Jones, Delia Guithues.
Michael was a truck driver from the time he was 16 until he was 61. He loved driving and working on trucks. He enjoyed listening to music, watching TV and riding motorcycles. He was a Harley Davidson man. Michael loved spending time with his family and grandkids, especially Brayden.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from 11 A.M. to 2 P.M. Friday at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services are 2 P.M. Friday, June 4, 2021.
Interment will be at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, IN.
