MILDRED M. AMBS BENNETT, 103, of Jasonville, IN passed away at 11:30 A.M. Tuesday, August 18, 2020 in Greene County General Hospital in Linton, IN.
She was born August 11, 1917 in Clay County, IN to Henry Ambs and Flora May (Buckallew) Ambs.
Mildred married Harry Bennett November 26, 1963 and he passed away on January 9, 1978.
Survivors include her niece, Sueann Simpson and nephew, Robert Whitaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 5 brothers and 2 sisters.
Mid was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, also Jasonville V.F.W. Ladies Auxillary and American Legion Post# 172 Ladies Auxillary. She worked as a medical assistant for Dr. Carl Porter for 45 years.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from 4 to 8 P.M. Thursday at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services are 10 A.M. Friday August 21, 2020 with Father John Pfister officiating
Interment will be at Peavey Cemetery in Howesville, IN.
