JOANN MILLER, 85, of Jasonville, Indiana passed away at 1:08 p.m. Monday, May 8, 2017 in Greene County General Hospital Linton, IN.  

She was born September 3, 1931 in Howesville, IN to Grover Miller and Lenna (VanHorn) Miller.

Joann married Gayle E. Miller on March 13, 1954 who passed away January 10, 2011.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law,  Scott and Holly Miller of Jasonville; daughters and son-in-law, Sherri Moyer of Jasonville, Lori and Richie Ashcraft of Jasonville; grandsons, Chase and Gabrielle Miller, Chad Miller, Daniel and Misty Moyer, Matthew Miller, Andrew Miller, Michael Miller; granddaughters, Nicki Moyer, Brandi and Travis Coleman, Lacy Ashcraft, Kiley Ashcraft, Heather and Chuck Gutensohns, Rochelle Smith; great-granddaughters, Justice Bickel and Dreama Moyer, Harley Moyer, Aleeha Moyer, Mickala Smith, Alica Smith, Ellery Miller, Lula Miller; great-grandsons, Beckett Miller, Steven Moyer; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters, Letha VanHorn, Norma Jean Asbury, Margaret Miller; brothers, Warren and Lewis Miller.

Joann graduated from Coalmont High School Class of 1949. She had worked at Shakamak Schools in the Cafeteria for 22 years. Joann loved crocheting, quilting, her flowers and enjoyed cooking and baking for her family.

Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation was scheduled Friday from 5-9 p.m. and 9 a.m. until service time Saturday.  Funeral Services were 10 a.m. Saturday, May 13, 2017 at the Cox Funeral Home with Pastor Brad West officiating.

Interment was at Peavey Cemetery in Howesville, IN.
