LINDA L. MILLER, age 73, of Jasonville passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2011 at 12:40 a.m. I.U. Methodist Hospital Indianapolis, IN after a courageous battle with her illness. She was surrounded by her family during her last moments.

Linda was born to Ernest and Mary (St. John) Burger of Jasonville on August 5, 1938. She married Jerry F. Miller on May 28, 1954.

Linda was a stay at home mother while her sons were growing up. Later she worked at Charles Industry in Jasonville until her retirement. She also worked part time at Shakamak Schools.

Linda is survived by her husband and three sons, Darrell (Teana) and Tom (Penny) of Jasonville and Mark of Rockingham, NC. She is also survived by one grandson, Andrew; and five granddaughters, Brandi (Nathan) Adams, Angie (Eric) Jahn, Jamie Miller, Lindsey Miller and Kristina Miller; and four great-granddaughters, Emily and Aubrey Adams, Ava Jahn and Corey Shelton. She is survived by two brothers, Ronald Burger of Ogden, Utah, Larry Burger of Linton and one sister, Judy Lambeth of Carlisle.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Charles and Jerry Burger, and three sisters, Deloris and two infant sisters.

Cox Funeral Home of Jasonville was in charge of services. Visitation was 5-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday. Funeral Services were 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 7, 2011. Brother David Tyra officiated. Burial was at Peavey Cemetery in Howesville, Indiana.
