DOYLE DEAN “DINK” MILLER, SR., 74, formerly of Midland, IN passed away at 7:20 p.m. Friday, December 9, 2011 in his residence in Indianapolis, IN.
He was born March 19, 1937 in Greenfield, IN to George Perry Miller and Margaret Arzella (Farrell) Miller.
Doyle married Katheryn “Deanne” (Cox) Miller August 9, 1988 and she passed away on April 18, 2005.
Survivors include his daughters & sons-in-law, Phyllis & Mike Fox of Mooresville, IN, Vonda Bartholomew of Greenfield, IN, Ronda & Gary Kehrt of Indianapolis, IN, Portia Magnus of Indianapolis, IN; son, Doyle D. Miller, Jr. of Fountaintown, IN; sisters, Sonia Kay Voss of TX, Karen Ann Rider of Columbus, IN, Janice Elaine Harper of MO; brothers, Hubert Darrell Miller of Greenfield, IN, Lawrence Eugene Miller of Rushville, IN, Harlan Dale Miller of KY; Sarah C. Bolling of Fountaintown, IN mother of Vonda, Ronda & Doyle; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded by his parents; wife; daughter, Paula Pauling; sisters, Barbara Jeanne Hagon, Vivian Sue Miller; brothers, George Perry Miller, Sterling Gale Miller, Marvin Neal Miller, Thomas Samuel Miller, Michael Lee Miller.
Doyle worked at Chrysler for 30 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, going to the casino and NASCAR.
Arrangements were entrusted to Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville. Visitation was 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. until service time Thursday. Funeral Services were 11 a.m. Thursday, December 15, 2011 at the Cox Funeral Home with Pastor Sam Bush officiating.
Interment was at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, IN
In lieu of flowers contributions were made to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes were available at the funeral home.
