LEONE M. MORRIS, 79, of Jasonville, Indiana passed away at 11:25 a.m. Wednesday, August 6, 2014 in Miller’s Merry Manor, Sullivan, IN.
She was born August 20, 1934 in South Bend, IN to Stanley Mackowski and Helen (Korpal) Mackowski.
Survivors include her daughters & sons-in-law, Kathy Faulk & Jerry of Jasonville, IN, Carol Morris-Wintz & Dave of Denver, CO; son, Jim Morris of Los Angeles, CA; grandchildren, Zachary Simpson, Nathan Simpson, Bridgett Nickle; great-grandchildren, Randy Joe Nickle, Emma Jo Nickle; sister, Rita Major of Northfield, MN; many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Ray Morris who passed away on December 2, 1997.
Leone had worked for South Bend Chocolate Company and then worked in Insurance at Indianapolis. She was a member of the 46th & Shadeland St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Indianapolis, IN.
Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation was 11 to 1 Sunday at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services immediately followed visitation at 1 p.m. Sunday, August 10, 2014 with Father Joseph F. Erbacher officiating.
Interment was 11 a.m. Monday at Washington Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis, IN with Deacon Tom Ward officiating.
