NORMA “JEAN” (McHENRY) BORDERS, left our earth to be with her Lord Tuesday, March 31, 2020 and will be greatly missed by Carl, her children, grandchildren and friends.
She was born March 18, 1943 in Jackson. MI to Walter McHenry and Mildred (Barnard) McHenry.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Carl Eugene Borders of Jasonville, IN; children, Norman E. Borders of Indianapolis, IN, Carla Jean Borders of Indianapolis, IN; grandchildren, Eric F. Borders, Ryan E. Borders, Erin R. Lammott and Jenna K. Lammott Klein.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Jean graduated Midland High School, married Carl on August 1, 1959 at Jasonville Baptist Church by Reverend Samuel Webb. She was a registered dietician for 30 years with BS, MS, RD degrees from Indiana State University, was a member of the Lebanon Baptist Church. Jean loved sunrises, her family and her special quilting friend Martha Roblee.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. In keeping with Jean’s wishes there will be no services.
