JOHN H. PADGETT, 66, of Jasonville, Indiana passed away at 5:10 a.m. Tuesday, January 20, 2015 in his residence.

He was born April 9, 1948 in Indianapolis, IN to Charles B. Padgett and Viola May (Kimberling) Cooprider.

Survivors include his wife, Janice K. (Lee) Padgett of Jasonville, IN whom he married on September 24, 1995; step-son, Jonathon & Jennifer Lash of Jasonville, IN; step-daughter, Candis Queen & Chad of Silver Dale, WA; grandchildren, Quade, Lacey, Kristopher, Kristine, Christopher, Jona; sister, Nancy Black of Terre Haute, IN.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 1st wife, Roxanne Padgett; brothers, Donald Padgett, Charles Padgett, Leslie Goodman, Rusty Cooprider; sisters, Edith Padgett, Betty Schofield.

John worked as a Drywaller Handler for Rose & Walker and Ervin Drywall. He was also an insulator for E. & C. Insulation. He liked old cars and going to car shows. He also liked to watch WWF and WWE wrestling.

Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation were scheduled from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services immediately followed visitation at 2 p.m. Friday, January 23, 2015 with Pastor Jerry Sink officiating.

Interment was at Fairview Cemetery in Linton, IN.
