JACOB PASSEN, 84, of Jasonville, Indiana passed away at 1:54 p.m. Monday, November 12, 2012 in Shakamak Good Samaritan Nursing Center, Jasonville, IN.

He was born November 26, 1927 in Jasonville, IN to Theodore Passen and Mary (Hicks) Passen.

Survivors include his daughters & sons-in-law, Dorothy Wheeler of Jasonville, IN, Rhonda & Dan Wallisa of Loogootee, IN, Holly & Travis Crane of Lewis, IN; sons, John Passen of Loogootee, IN, Brian Passen of Shoals, IN; grandchildren, Steve Wheeler, Brandy Raines, James Wallisa, Jeana Wallisa, Jacob Wallisa, Loryn Crane, Drew Crane; great-grandchildren, Scott Wheeler, Brandon Wheeler, Julie Wheeler, Christian Raines, Layla Raines, Phoenix Parsons; sisters, Betty Petit of Welston, OH, Della Passen of Terre Haute, IN Doris Wise of Jasonville, IN; nieces, nephews & cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ted Passen, Bill Passen, George Passen; sisters, Margaret Funkhouser, Christina Ladson.

Jacob worked at Formfit for 19 ½ years, Allisons for 16 years and General Motors about one year. He was a U.S. Army Veteran.

Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana with Visitation scheduled from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. service time Thursday at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services were 2 p.m. Thursday, November 15, 2012 at the Cox Funeral Home with Father Frank Renner officiating.

Interment was at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, IN.
