PATSY R. (MOWERY) ANDERSON, 89, of Terre Haute, IN passed away at 2:33 p.m. Monday, December 1, 2025 at the Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care in Terre Haute, IN.
She was born July 25, 1936 in Jasonville, IN to Odie S. Mowery and Cora Mae (Utterback) Mowery.
Patsy married Charles Duane Anderson who passed away on August 23, 1994.
Survivors include her children, Scott Anderson (Jackie) of Bedford, IN, Karen Anderson of Terre Haute, Joe Anderson of Paragon, IN; grandchildren, Kyle Anderson (Lilliana), Luke Anderson (Sarah), Leann Anderson-Coulter ; one great grandson, one great granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother: Harold R. Mowery, sister: Norma L. Phipps. .
Patsy graduated from Coalmont High School and then attended college for 2 years in Denver, CO. She worked as a Nurses Aide and later as a bank teller at First National Bank in Terre Haute, IN and a bank in Denver, CO.
Patsy loved sewing and making quilts. She loved her family and spending time with them.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. A Celebration of Life is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at the funeral home. Services are immediately following at 1 p.m. with Pastor James Phipps officiating.
Interment will be at Gosport Cemetery in Gosport, IN at a later date.
