PAUL EDWARD HARLAN, 69, of Clay City, IN passed away at 10:45 p.m. Friday, March 19, 2010 in Glenburn Home, Linton, IN. He was born December 27, 1940 in Jasonville, IN to Clifford R. Harlan and Lovicia B. (Ferry) Harlan-Graber.

Survivors include a son, Eddie Harlan of Terre Haute; sister & brother-in-law, Carol & Fred Easter of Jasonville; nephews, Donald R. & Shannon Harlan of Jasonville, Greg Klega of Clay City; nieces, Terry Strouse of California, Sherry Hydrick of Arizona, Cindy Moyer of Jasonville, Tamme Klega of Jasonville, Brooke & Danny Evol of Jasonville; many other family members; special friends, Bill Wilson of Clay City, Joe Hawkins of Linton, Earlene Griffith of Mooresville, Jim Slater Clay City. He was preceded in death by his parents; step-father, Willard Graber; son, Terry Allen Harlan; brothers, Robert W. Harlan and Donald R. Harlan Sr.

Paul worked at Crane, was a 13 year member of Sons of the American Legion Post #172 in Jasonville and a member of the VFW Men’s Auxiliary Post #6606 of Clay City for many years.

Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home, 218 South Meridian Street, Jasonville, IN. Visitation was 11 a.m. until service time on Thursday. Funeral Services were 1 p.m. Thursday March 25, 2010 all at the funeral home with Pastor Mark Messmer officiating. Interment was in Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, IN.
