PAULA KATHLEEN (ABEL) ENGLE, 70, of Sullivan,IN passed away at 8:14 P.M. Tuesday, October 5, 2021 in her home.
She was born March 3, 1951 in Sullivan, IN to Floyd Abel and Betty (Miller) Bridges.
Paula married Jesse Lloyd “Bud” Engle, he passed away on August 12, 2021.
Survivors include her children, Larry Reagan (Ryann) of Spencer, IN, Ralph Reagan (Stacy) of Glasgow, KY; step-children, Rick Engle (Sharon) of OH, Paul Engle of TN, Vanessa Schroeder of VA; grandchildren, Shelby Reagan, Natasha McCarty, Kierra Lacer, Luke Lacer, Emily Reagan, Ellie Reagan, Christopher Engle (Syra), Carrie Webster, Amanda Bonnel (Travis); great-grandchildren, Zavior Zygai, Jaxson Mcgauhey, Stella Mcgauhey, Brantley Belle; mother, Betty Bridges of Jasonville, IN; siblings, Donna Maze of Jasonville, IN, Debbie Smith of Jasonville, IN; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father; husband; brothers, Tim Abel, Anthony Abel.
Paula cleaned homes for many years and was a care giver for others. She loved working outside in her yard with flowers and plants. Paula loved her animals.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. In keeping with Paula’s wishes, a Celebration of Life is scheduled from 1 to 3 P.M. Monday, October 11, 2021 at the funeral home. Services are immediately following at 3 P.M. Monday with Pastor Anthony Orman officiating.
