NADA GRACE PETIT, 91, of Jasonville, Indiana passed away at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 14, 2012 in Greene County General Hospital, Linton, IN.

She was born December 22, 1920 in Jasonville, IN to James Elmer Kennett & Nellie Olive (Pirtle) Kennett.

Nada was married to Leo Petit and he passed away on July 14, 1981.

Survivors include her daughters, Kathleen Livers of Jasonville, IN and Muriel Lynn Petit of Jasonville, IN; sons, Keith & Sherry Petit of Toledo, OH, and Larry Petit of Jasonville, IN; grandchildren, Lisa Bartja, Leahann & Steve Mize, Angela Petit, Olivia & Joe Jerrell, Jessee Petit, Keith Petit, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Garrett Bartja, Alycia Bartja, Jada Grace Huff, Alayna Mize, Brooklyn Stone, Brianna Petit, Braedon Petit; several nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; siblings, Helen Barton, Muriel Haley, Lucian Kennett, Pirtle Kennett, Maxine Dalton, Lyle Kennett.

Nada was a homemaker, a wonderful mother, grandmother and devoted her life to the needs of others.

Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana with Visitation scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Funeral Services were 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 17, 2012 at the Cox Funeral Home with Pastor David Smith officiating.

Interment was at Peavey Cemetery in Howesville, IN.
