BARRETT B. POTTS, 76, of Jasonville, Indiana passed away at 7:27 a.m. Sunday, February 3, 2013 in Regional Hospital, Terre Haute, IN.
He was born July 25, 1936 in Dillsboro, North Carolina to Ferdie Clinton Potts and Luna C. (Childers) Potts.
Survivors include his wife, Allie E. (Rapier) Potts of Jasonville, IN whom he married on October 15, 1955; sons & daughters-in-law, Barry R. & Jeri Potts of Chicago, IL, Gary L. & Diane Potts of Hobart, IN, Larry D. Potts of Hammond, IN, Kenneth E. Potts of Jasonville, IN, Randall L. & Katherine Potts of Munster, IN; daughters & sons-in-law, Rhonda J. & John Hanish of Jasonville, IN, Sharon L. & John Hnatko of Chesterton, IN; 13 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his parents; step-brother, Bill Brown.
Barrett had worked for LTV Steel Company for 37 years. He loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He also loved fishing, gardening, raising chickens and his dog Molley.
Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana with Visitation scheduled from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday service time at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services were 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at the Cox Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Messmer officiating.
Interment was at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, IN.
