JOSHUA ALAN RAY, 25, of Jasonville, Indiana passed away at 1:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at his residence.

He was born May 29, 1988 in Terre Haute, IN. His parents are Timothy A. Bradley Jr. and Leah Michelle (Ray) Bradley.

Survivors include his wife, April Jo (Shryock) Ray of Jasonville whom he married on August 17, 2013; children, Joshua Gene Ray and Kaydence Hope Ray both at home; parents, Leah Michelle & Timothy Bradley of Effingham, IL; mother-in-law & father-in-law, Bruce & Charlotte Shryock of Jasonville; sisters, Heather Miller of Lewisville, IL, Leah Nicole Shake of Effingham, IL, Elizabeth Edington of Vandalia, IL; maternal grandparents, Wilma Joyce Walker & Kenny Keller of Jasonville; paternal grandparents, Paula & Timothy Bradley, Sr. of Decatur, IL; aunt, Paula & Brad Montgomery of Georgetown, IN; brothers-in-law, Brucie and Tim; sisters-in-law, Michelle and Marie; many nieces, nephews & cousins.

He was preceded in death by his aunt, Betty Connor; great-grandmother, Betty Johnson.

He was a member of the Class of 2007 Shakamak High School. He worked at Advix in Terre Haute through Labor Link and was going to work for Paradise AG Painters, Inc. in West Terre Haute. Joshua loved art and drawing and was a tattoo artist. He loved partying, rapping and playing football. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Joshua loved spending time with his children.

Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana with Visitation scheduled from 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services were 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at the Cox Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Messmer officiating.

Interment was at K of P Cemetery in Hymera, IN.
