PARIS T. REESE, 88, of Jasonville, Indiana passed away at 3:25 p.m. Friday, July 8, 2016 in Shakamak Good Samaritan Center, Jasonville, IN.

He was born April 15, 1928 in Jasonville, IN to Arthur Reese and Lela (White) Reese.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Paris Shane and Leslie Reese of Jasonville; step-son, Jim Hadley of Jasonville; grandchildren, Josh and Courtney Schmidt, Trevor Reese, Seth Reese; step-grandchildren, Dedra and Rockie Cox Jr., Ryan and Michelle Hadley, Michael and Sara Hadley, Michelle Hadley; great-grandson, Mitchell Schmidt; step-great-grandchildren, Colin Siefert, Ashlyn Hadley, Larrissa Hadley, Garrett Murley, Hanna Murley, Gabrielle Hadley, Ravenne Hadley, Michael Jackson Hadley; brother, Sammy Reese of Pueblo, CO.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 1st wife, Betty (Boston) Reese in 1985; brother, Arthur Reese Jr.; sisters, Virginia Brown, Clarice Turley; 2nd wife, Lois I. Reese in 2013.

Paris retired in 1987 from Pfizer after 38 years of service where he was a Foreman in Animal Health Research. He was a member of the Jasonville VFW Post #6225. He was a U.S. Army Veteran in the Korean War.

Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation was scheduled from 4 – 8 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services were 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at the Cox Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Messmer officiating.

Interment was at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, IN.

In lieu of flowers contributions were made in memory of Paris to Canine Rescue-Care Inc. Envelopes were available at the funeral home.
