RELDA L. (PALMER) COX, 74, of Jasonville, IN passed away Saturday, January 15, 2022 in Sullivan County Community Hospital in Sullivan, IN.

She was born March 22, 1947 in Evansville, IN to Otis Palmer and Betty J. (Brunner) Steele.

Relda married Johnny P. Cox who passed away on September 6, 2020 .

Survivors include her children, James F. Beaupain of Indianapolis, IN, Tammy M. Smith (Rick) of Plainfield, IN, Eric A. White (Heather) of Bloomington, IN, Jami R. Montgomery of Jasonville, IN, John P. Cox of Indianapolis, IN, Jason Cox of Indianapolis, IN, Ryan L. Minks (Kimberly) of Jasonville, IN;        grandchildren – 13; great-grandchildren – 3 with one on the way.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Relda graduated Shakamak High School Class of 1965. She liked to work puzzles, crochet and sew. She also enjoyed baking, shopping, gambling and dancing. Relda was a member of Jasonville American Legion Post #172 Ladies Auxiliary, she loved the camaraderie of being involved with the Ladies Auxiliary and participating in their functions, she also served as Sgt-at-Arms.

Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from 5 to 8 P.M. Friday, January 21, 2022 at the Funeral Home. Services are immediately following at 8 P.M. with LuAnn McDonald officiating. In keeping with Relda’s wishes cremation will be scheduled.
