RENEE LEE (BENNETT) LONG, 65, of Linton, IN passed away at 10:48 A.M. Thursday, August 4, 2022 in her home in Linton, IN.
She was born September 28, 1956 in Linton, IN to Thomas “Tom” Bennett and Marilyn (Brownewell) Bennett.
Survivors include her son, Kamron Zane Long (Jayne) of Bloomington, IN; grandson, Bentley Gauldin; father, Tom Bennett (Anna) of Jasonville, IN; sisters, Amber Bennett of Odon, IN, Billie Farmer of Jasonville, IN, Lisa Bedwell of Jasonville, IN, Amanda Spicer of Jasonville, IN; uncle, Ed Brownewell of Indianapolis, IN; many nieces and nephews,
She was preceded in death by her mother; son, Michael Long; brother, Roger Bennett.
Renee graduated from Shakamak High School. She was a member of Linton First Christian Church. She had worked as a hospice nurse and been a member of Linton Civitan Club. She enjoyed garderning, painting, she liked Thomas Kincaid’s painting’s, arts and crafts and listening to the Eagles. Renee loved her family and spending time with them, especially her grandson Bentley. She enjoyed taking him places and doing things with him.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from 11 A.M. to 2 P.M. Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at the Funeral Home. Services are immediately following with Pastor Warren Shake officiating.
Interment will be at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, IN.
