RICHARD H. “DICK” STEVENSON, 92, of Jasonville, Indiana passed away at 5:25 a.m. Thursday, June 13, 2019 in his residence.

He was born June 28, 1926 in Jasonville, IN to John Stevenson and Gertrude (Harlan) Stevenson.

Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Betty J. (McBride) Stevenson of Jasonville who he married on September 4, 1948; children, Sharon Morse (Fred) of Jasonville, Kathy Edmondson (Tom) of Jasonville, Cindy McNabb (Bo) of Jasonville; grandchildren, Nicole Morse-Griffith (Eric), Matthew Sims, Megan Sims-Willis (Patrick), Shellie Edmondson-Robbins, Amber Edmondson-Bowling (Nic), Steven McNabb (Amanda), Scott McNabb (Mary), Sean McNabb, Donnie McNabb, Vanessa McNabb-Bush (Brandon), Samantha McNabb-McCoskey (J.D.); great-grandchildren, Beckett Griffith, Baylor Griffith, Breckynn Griffith, Brant Mize, Mia Robbins, Finn Willis, Townsend Willis, Hattie Willis, Reghan McNabb, Ella Bush, Hannah Bush, Jevan McCoskey, Jude McCoskey, Jillian McCoskey; siblings, Rita Cahall of South Bend, IN; brother-in-law, Ray McBride of Jasonville; sister-in-law, Ruth Whitlock of Terre Haute; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Loren Craig, Max Craig; sister, Jane Kaufman; grandson, Craig Morse.

Dick graduated from Jasonville High School Class of 1944. He worked 30 years as an electrical engineer with Public Service Indiana (PSI). Dick was a U.S. Navy Veteran where he served in WWII. He was a 70 year member of the Jasonville American Legion Post #172, F&AM Lodge #530 of Jasonville, The Scottish Rite Valley of Terre Haute. He enjoyed watching a variety of different sports after his retirement. He enjoyed spending time at the American Legion Post and most of all “Pap” loved spending time with his grandkids and great-grandkids.

Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Per Dick’s request cremation was chosen. No public Visitation or Funeral Services are scheduled. Interment will follow at a later date.
