RICHARD J. “RICH” DUNCAN, 73, of Clay City, IN passed away at 9:07 A.M. Tuesday, February 15, 2022 in Shakamak Good Samaritan Nursing Home at Jasonville, IN.
He was born April 23, 1948 in Clay County, IN to Ermil Glen “Bud” Duncan and Faye (Mishler) Duncan.
Survivors include his children, Sara Richmond of Clay City, IN, Douglas Duncan of Bloomfield, IN; grandchildren, Hayleigh Garrett, Hunter Richmond; great-granddaughter, Blakeleigh Bickel; sister, Brenda Whitman (Ray) of Midland, IN; niece & nephew; Michelle Baxter (Tim), Michael McNabb (Brandy).
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Rich worked as a farmer for many years. He attended New Hope Church near Clay City, IN. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting, fishing and eating out. Rich enjoyed the simple things in life.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. Friday, February 18, 2022 at the Funeral Home. Services are immediately following at 1 P.M. with LuAnn McDonald officiating.
Interment will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Clay City, IN.
