Richard Kent Massey, Sr. 79, of Jasonville, Indiana passed away at 3:09 p.m., Monday, May 15, 2023 in Glenburn Nursing Home in Linton, Indiana.
He was born July 31, 1943 in Clinton, Illinois to Oscar Massey and Bonnie Lyons Massey. Richardmarried Linda K. Boyd on February 2, 1970 and who passed away on June 1, 2018.
Survivors include his son, Richard K. Massey, Jr. of Jasonville, Indiana and Stepson, Sandy Allen Bharns of Missouri and Step Daughter, Denise Marie Bharns of Missouri; and brother-in-law, William Boyd (Sharon) ofJasonville, IN.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street;
Jasonville, Indiana. Graveside services are scheduled for 10 AM Thursday, June 15, 2023 at Lebanon Cemetery with Pastor Jeff Mair officiating.
