NONA M. (BOHNERT) RICHMOND, 62, of Jasonville, Indiana passed away at 2:27 a.m. Saturday, March 26, 2011 in Methodist Hospital Indianapolis, IN.  She was born April 6, 1948 in Linton, IN to Hugh “Sarg” Bohnert and Edith (Secrest) Bohnert.

Survivors include her spouse, Robert “Bob” Richmond of Jasonville, IN whom she married on June 4, 1966; sons & daughters-in-law, Brad & Sara Richmond of Jasonville, IN and Danny & Tawnya Richmond of Shelburn, IN; daughters, Lori, Stacey and Caroline; grandchildren, Jazmine, Dakota, Angel, Hayleigh, Melody, Hunter, and Jessica; mother, Edith Bohnert of Jasonville, IN; sisters & brothers-in-law, Judy & Hodge Secrest of Jasonville, IN and Brenda & Tony Rash of Jasonville, IN; brother & sister-in-law, Jim & Ruth Mattox of Dugger, IN; good friends, Francie “Grandma” Ricklefs, Julie Gibson, Sharon Sexton, Marilyn Goggins, Virginia Stovall, Sharon Gibbons, Rebecca Davidson and a large extended family.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Nona was a wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her animals. She had a goat, dogs, cats, birds, wolves, and a very special horse Sky Walker’s Babe (Noni’s Baby Girl).

Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street;  Jasonville, Indiana with Visitation scheduled from 5-9 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the Funeral Home.

Funeral Services were 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at the Cox Funeral Home with Pastor Sam Bush officiating.

Interment was at the Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, IN.
