ROBERT E. “BOB” TRIBBY JR., 61, of Jasonville, IN passed away at 4;49 P.M. Friday, July 24, 2020 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN.
He was born October 23, 1958 in Greene County, IN to Robert E. Tribby Sr. and Emma Lou (Worth) Cobb.
Survivors include his mother and step-father, Emma Lou Cobb (Armen) of Indianapolis, IN; children, Brad Lutes (Amy) of Sullivan, IN, Christina Procarione (Andrew) of Hillsdale, IN; grandchildren, Olivia, Liam, Finley; brother, Michael Tribby (Judy) of Indianapolis, IN; nephews, Conner, Jordan, Josh, Zack; cousins, Bruce Tribby, Andy Tribby and several other cousins; aunts & uncles; Tracy Russell (Kevin) of Linton; step-mother, Joyce Tribby of Linton, IN.
He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
Bob graduated Martinsville High School and received an Associate’s Degree in printing from Ivy Tech in Terre Haute, IN. He was a member of Jasonville Sons of the American Legion Post# 172 where he served as a legionaire. Bob loved attending baseball games and plays so he could watch his grandchildren play and perform. He enjoyed fishing and had recently purchased a motorcycle and was enjoying riding it. Bob also liked watching NASCAR and the Indianapolis 500. Bob was a member of Bethel Community Church in Dugger, IN.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from Noon to 2:00 P.M. Thursday at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services are 2 P.M. Thursday, July 30, 2020 with Pastor Randy Tucker officiating.
Interment will be at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, IN.
