ROGER D. SONCRANT, 58, of Jasonville, IN passed away at 1:07 P.M. Thursday, January 7, 2021 in Sullivan County Community Hospital in Sullivan, IN.
He was born January 23, 1962 in Linton, IN to Bettie (Bohnert) Soncrant.
Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Kelli Soncrant of Jasonville, IN who he married on February 28, 1987; children, Kelsey Gauldin of Jasonville, IN, Kylee Keller (Eric Salter) of Jasonville, IN; grandchildren, Bentley Gauldin, Bryler Keller; siblings, Sandy Payton of Jasonville, IN, Bill Soncrant of Jasonville, IN, Rob Soncrant (Jessica) of Linton, IN, Robin Brody (Chuck) of Jasonville, IN, Melinda Jenkins (Chris) of Jasonville, IN; brother in laws, Jim Galloway (Cheryl) of Jasonville, IN, Greg White of Jasonville, IN, Robbie White of Jasonville, IN; sister in-law, Kim Soncrant of Coatsville, IN; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, brother and sister in-law, Toby Soncrant (Jamie), brother in-law, Mike Payton; father and mother in-law, Gene and Joan White; nephews, Josh Thomas, Dillon Jenkins.
Roger owned and operated Soncrant Contracting and Seamless Guttering. Roger was a member of SAL Post# 298 in Hymera, IN, VFW Auxillary Post# 7118 in Linton, IN and Moose Lodge# 1439 in Linton, IN.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. A Gathering of Friends is scheduled from 2 to 7 P.M. Monday, January 11, 2021 at the Funeral Home. In keeping with Roger’s wishes cremation is scheduled with a Celebration of Life to be held at a later date. Due to the Pandemic we request that all who attend wear masks and social distance. Thank You.
