RONALD STEVEN MOYER, 66, of Lewis, IN passed away at 9:35 p.m. Thursday, September 3, 2026 in St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, IN.
He was born October 9, 1959 in Brazil, IN to Leroy Moyer and Rose (Julbert) Moyer.
Survivors include his children, Rochelle Poole of Rockville, IN, Daniel Moyer of Jasonville, IN, Nicki Moyer of Jasonville, IN; grandchildren, Mikayla Smith, Alyssa Tamin, Katlynn Poole, Richard Poole, Jamie Poole, James Poole, Justice Bickel, Dreama Moyer, Harley Moyer, Aleeha Moyer, Siren Bickel, Steven Burtel, Summer Brown, Zander Brown ; great-grandchildren, Seren. Anna, Desiree, Namari; siblings, John Moyer (Betty) of Lewis, IN, Jerry Pilant of Jasonville, IN, Marsha Chapman of Sullivan, IN, Sue Danko of Spencer, IN, Pattsy Wallace (Pat) of Lewis, IN; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son in-law, James Poole Jr; brother in-law, David Danko.
Ronald graduated from Shakamak High School Class of 1978. He worked in the teamsters and as a union carpenter. He enjoyed deer hunting and fishing as well as riding motorcycles. He liked working on trucks and motorcycles too.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. In keeping with Ronald’s wishes cremation is scheduled, there are no services planned.
