RUTH B. GORE, 91, of Jasonville, IN passed away at 2:34 P.M. Wednesday, March 22, 2023 in Autumn Trace Assisted Living in Linton, IN, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born September 3, 1931 in Jasonville, IN to Charles Brandon Hert and Mary Margaret (Mullens) Hert.
Ruth married Stanley E. Gore on August 29, 1948, he passed away on May 31, 1989.
Survivors include her children, Linda Lambermont (Max) of Jasonville, IN, Lori Drew (George) of Jasonville, IN; daughter in-law, Rebecca Gore of Jasonville, IN; grandchildren, Melissa, Kim, Shawn, Thad, Derek, Ashley; great-grandchildren, Brooke, Jesylan, Bron, Madelyn, Lainey, Riley, Adeline, Trinity; great-great-granddaughter, Whitley; brothers, Allen Hert (Ruth) of OK, Ron Hert of Indianapolis, IN; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Larry Gore; granddaughter, Heather Keller; great-grandson, Gerran Wilkes; brothers, Charles Hert Jr., Billy Joe Hert-infant; sister, Carolyn Arthur.
Ruth enjoyed her flower garden, working puzzles and spending time with her family and friends. She liked her walks at Shakamak State Park with her friend Rosie and working the breakfast at the Senior Citizens Center. Ruth was member of Blessed Hope Baptist Church and a Charter Member of Auxillary Unit# 172 Jasonville.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from 11 A.M. to 2 P.M. Saturday, March 25, 2023 at the Funeral Home. Services are immediately following at 2 P.M. with Pastor Jeff Fulk officiating.
Interment will be at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, IN.
