RUTH EXLINE, 85, of Jasonville, IN passed away at 11:45 p.m. Friday, November 15, 2019 at her home in Jasonville with her family surrounded by her side.
She was born November 5, 1934 in Martinsville, IL to Guy Medsker and Laura (Effner) Medsker.
Survivors include her children; James Exline (Gillian) of Sullivan, Gregory Exline, of Bloomfield, Susan Utterback, of Jasonville, Jeffery Exline (Leslie) of Terre Haute, Grandchildren; Micheal Exline (Melissa Brown), Crystal Lloyd (Jason), Jared Utterback, Tyler Utterback, Jacquie Exline (Zac Dykan), Jessy Exline , Susan Heacox, Stephen Eric Franklin (Diana Hensley), Great-Grandchildren; Stephen Franklin (Christina Robling), Andrew Heacox, Alex Heacox, Garrett Lloyd, Great-Great Grandchild; Ellie Marie Franklin, Siblings; Grace Schryer, of Ft. Wayne, Clara Mae Sanders of Ft. Wayne, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Orval Exline, siblings, Jerald Medsker, Dean Medsker, Guy Max Medsker, Ron Medsker, Dorothy Henderson, Goldie Cunningham, Edith Hill, and Leta Wilson.
Ruth loved gardening and canning. She enjoyed working on jigsaw puzzles. Ruth loved her flowers, watching I Love Lucy, and having coffee with her neighbors. Above all, Ruth loved spending time with her family.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at the Funeral Home. Celebration of Life is 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 20, 2019 with Minister Cameron Gladish officiating.
Memorial contributions in memory of Ruth can be made to Heart to Heart Hospice.
Interment will be at K of P Cemetery.
