SCOTT EDWARD MILLER, 67, of Jasonville, IN passed away Thursday, March 7, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born September 16, 1956 in Linton, IN to Gayle Miller and Loretta Joan (Miller) Miller.
Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Holly Miller of Jasonville, IN who he married on November 1, 1997; children, Heather Gutensohn (Chuck), Chase Miller of Vincennes, IN, Chad Miller (Asheley) of Terre Haute, IN, Matthew Miller of Jasonville, IN, Andrew Miller of Jasonville, IN, Michael Miller of Jasonville, IN; grandchildren, Ellery Miller, Lula Miller, Beckett Miller, Isabella Kutch, Allie Zigler; siblings, Sherri Moyer of Jasonville, IN, Lori Ashcraft (Richie) of Jasonville, IN; several nieces and a nephew.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Scott graduated from Shakamak High School Class of 1974. He worked as a mechanic for Western Tar & Railroad and later Kirkham Hardwoods. He enjoyed fishing with his kids, doing home projects and being outdoors. He also enjoyed hunting mushrooms and riding his 4 wheeler.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from 11 A.M. to 2 P.M. Friday, March 15, 2024 at the Funeral Home. Services are immediately following at 2 P.M. with Pastor Mike Rotman officiating.
In keeping with Scott’s wishes, cremation will be scheduled.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in memory of Scott to Cox Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
