STEVEN BRENT SEXTON, 65, of Jasonville, Indiana passed away at 9:25 a.m. Monday, January 15, 2018 in his residence.  

He was born March 11, 1952 in Linton, IN to Robert Sexton and Delores (Walters) Sexton.

Survivors include his wife, Gloria Jean (Mayfield) Sexton of Jasonville who he married on March 11, 2017; mother, Delores “Dode” Sexton of Jasonville; children, Dr. Krista Sexton-Cox (Dr. Richard Bryan) of Linton, Brent Allen Sexton of Jasonville, Landon Wayne Sexton of Jasonville, Kenneth Wayne Hardwick of Bonita Springs, FL; grandchildren, Benjamin, Sarah, Bradyn, Alexis, Amza, Ashley, Cory; brother, Gary Sexton of Washington, IN; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert.

Steve had worked in his earlier years at Hulman & Company and then worked at Pfizer as a welder until his retirement. He enjoyed working on cars, building hot rods, racing go-carts and riding motorcycles.

Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, IN; coxfuneralhomejasonville.com. Visitation was scheduled from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services immediately followed visitation at 8 p.m. Friday at the Cox Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Messmer and Pastor Dick Smith officiating.

Graveside Committal Services were 11 a.m. Saturday, January 20, 2018 at the Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, IN.
