SHELLY LOUISE FELKER, age 60 of Jasonville passed away at 1:10 A.M. on Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at her residence and will be greatly missed by her children and friends.
She was born September 8, 1959 in Sullivan County, IN to Jay Simpson and Thelma (Wise) Vanhorn.
Survivors include her husband, Marvin Robert Felker; whom she married on June 3, 1978, children; Jeremy Felker of Jasonville, Lesli Felker of Greenwood, Jacob Felker of Coalmont, mother; Thelma (Wise) Vanhorn of Jasonville, grandchildren; Cailyn Alsman, Braiden Felker, Riley Felker, Azaia Felker, Kaige Felker, Ruger Felker, great-grandson, Typhon Alsman, sisters; Sheila Jones (Mike) of Mooresville, Starr Simpson of Jasonville, Laura Secrest (Kevin) of Terre Haute, Dana Duncan (Mark) of Jasonville, Nila Smith (David) of Jasonville, Lisa Roady of Sparta, IL, Kathy Townsend of Coalmont, brother; Kevin Wasnidge, step mother; Doris Simpson.
She was preceded in death by her father; Jay Simpson, nephew; Jordan Daniel Simpson, and many other loved ones.
Shelly was a 1977 Shakamak High School graduate. She was a homemaker and enjoyed singing with her sisters. Shelly loved spending time with her family, and especially her new great grandson, Typhon.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from 11:00 A.M. until service time at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, May 22, 2020 at the Funeral Home. Funeral services are at 2:00 P.M., Friday, May 22, 2020 with Pastor Jonathon Heard officiating.
Interment will be at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, Indiana.
In compliance with State and County guidelines during this time, the services and burial for Shelly Felker will be private. Thank you for your cooperation.
