HARRY SHIPLEY, JR., 87, of Jasonville, Indiana passed away at 4:48 p.m. Monday, January 8, 2018 in Shakamak Good Samaritan Center in Jasonville.
He was born February 4, 1931 in Terre Haute, IN to Harry Shipley Sr. and Pansy (Parson) Shipley.
Survivors include his brother, LeRoy Shipley (Janet) of Terre Haute; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Fred Shipley; sisters, Millie Harrington, Rosalee Hoff and Zelma Shipley.
Harry had worked for the Terre Haute Parks Dept. and in Elkhart, IN in trailer manufacturing. He grew up in Terre Haute.
Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, IN; coxfuneralhomejasonville.com. Graveside Services were 11 a.m. Friday, January 12, 2018 at the Roselawn Memorial Park in Terre Haute, IN with Chaplain Ross Williman officiating.
In lieu of flowers contributions were made in memory of Harry to the Hospice of your choice.
