SHIRLEY A. STEWART, 86, of Jasonville, IN passed away at 4:53 A.M. Wednesday, April 20, 2022 in Shakamak Good Samaritan Society in Jasonville, IN.
She was born May 5, 1935 in Jasonville, IN to Jesse Floyd Stewart and Jessie Anna (Mowery) Stewart.
Survivors include her nieces & nephews, Mark Caddell, Matt Caddell, Travis Caddell, Kevin Stewart, Donald Lloyd Stewart, Nancy Sue, Sharon Lea, Carol Marie, Sharon, Jeffrey, Cheryl; great nieces and nephews, Sally Ann, Matthew Wilson Jr., Heather Nichol, Zivar Mae;loving friend, Carolyn Crichfield of Jasonville, IN.
She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Ada Stewart, Edgar Stewart, Rex Stewart. Peggy Caddell, Gerald Eugene Stewart.
Shirley graduated Midland High School Class of 1953. She worked at RCA TV Plant for 41 years, working as a tester. She volunteered at the Jasonville Senior Citizens Center. Shirley was an active member of Jasonville Assembly of God having served as Sunday School Superintendent, teacher, nursery worker and youth leader.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. Saturday, April 23, 2022 at the FuneralHome. Services are immediately following at 1 P.M. with Pastor Sam Bush officiating.
Interment will be at Peavey Cemetery near Howesville, IN.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Shirley to the Greene County Humane Society. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
