SHIRLEY M. (ROBBINS) BURGER, 85, of Sullivan, IN passed away at 3:57 P.M. Monday, September 13, 2022 in Meadow Lakes Assisted Living in Mooresville, IN.
She was born October 4, 1936 in Carlisle, IN to Albert Robbins and Mary (Howard) Robbins.
Shirley married Clarence Burger May 15, 1954; he passed away on October 18, 2001.
Survivors include her son, Brian Burger (Kathy) of Indianapolis, IN; grandchildren, Mark Burger, Aaron Burger (JoLeana); great-grandchildren, Jason Burger, Ryan Burger Jr., Savannah Burger, Ender Burger, Atlas Burger, MyLee Smith, Anabelle Smith, Savana McCaffrey (Riley); great-great-grandchildren, Liam McCaffrey, Josh Burger; siblings, Marion Robbins (Beth) of Sullivan, IN, Sandra Criss of Sullivan, IN, Patricia Bergman of Sullivan; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; grandson, Ryan Burger Sr.
Shirley graduated from Carlisle/Haddon High School. She liked to go to yard sales, shop at Goodwill and decorate her house. Shirley was a member of Marwood Baptist Church in Indianapolis.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from Noon to 2 P.M. Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at the Funeral Home. Services are immediately following at 2 P.M. with Pastor Bill Blakely officiating.
Interment will be at Peavey Cemetery in Howesville, IN.
