RHONDA LYNN SLUDER, 48, of Coalmont, Indiana passed away at 7:35 a.m. Saturday, September 17, 2011 in her residence.

She was born April 6, 1963 in Linton, IN to Jack L. Sluder and Carolyn S. (English) Sluder.

Survivors include a daughter, Deborah Fry of DuBois, PA; sons, Stephen Fry of Pittsburgh, PA, Nathan Fry of Altoona, PA; parents, Jack & Carolyn Sluder of Coalmont, IN; brother, Bryan & Lisa Sluder of Linton, IN; aunt (special sister), Marsha Sluder of Orlando, FL.

She was preceded by her granddaughter, Morgin.

Rhonda was saved at the age of seven while attending Providence Baptist Church with her family in Indiana. She attended the Lighthouse Baptist Church in Claysburg, PA and was one of their pianists. Rhonda worked at Interstate Acquisition Services as a Land Acquisition Specialist. She earned a B.S. degree from Penn State University. Rhonda was a wedding singer, a pianist, and enjoyed selling Miche bags and crocheting blankets for the premature babies in Altoona, PA. She enjoyed scenic photography, kayaking, loved driving her convertible, going to the mountains to ski around Claysburg. She also went bear and turkey hunting. She loved time spent with her family and friends. Rhonda shared her life with a large circle of friends and her two little Yorkies Razz & Sugar who were her constant companions. She was a cancer survivor and participated in cancer walks in the Altoona area.

Arrangements were entrusted to Cox Funeral Home; Jasonville with Visitation from 5-9 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. until services Wednesday at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services were 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at the funeral home with Pastor Darren McDonald and Pastor Johnny Clemens officiating.

Interment was at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, IN.
