JOY BELLE SCHRIVER SNELLENBERGER, 90, of Lewis, Indiana passed away at 8:20 p.m. Monday, April 23, 2012 in Regional Hospital, Terre Haute, IN.
She was born June 14, 1921 in Clay County, IN to Harrison Bolinger and Elsie (Samm) Bolinger.
Survivors include her son & daughter-in-law, Larry E. & Glenalee Schriver of Terre Haute, IN; daughter-in-law, Karen R. Schriver of Gibsonton, FL; grandchildren, Kenneth Alan & Carrie Schriver, Robin Kristina Schriver, Jamie Jo & Don Melvin, Jeffery Scott & Jennifer Schriver, Donald R. & Dawndee Pastore; great-grandchildren, Kody Alan Schriver, Tyler James “TJ” Schriver, Lyndsey Rachelle Schriver, Kelby A. Schriver, Gabby Ray Lynn Pastore, Chase A. Schriver, Alyssa Kay Pastore Edwards; step-daughter, Marianne Bemis of Indianapolis, IN; step-son, Randy Snellenberger of Shelburn, IN; step-grandsons, Bryce Bemis, Eric Bemis and Ryan Jay Snellenberger.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Clarence E. Schriver on November 13, 1980; second husband, Clarence (Jr.) Snellenberger on July 15, 2011; son, Jerold “Jerry” L. Schriver on July 22, 2008; sister, Lois House; brothers, Edgar Bolinger, Homer Bolinger and John William “Bill” Bolinger.
Joy Belle retired from CBS after 27 years of service. She was a member of Shiloh Assembly of God Church and was a 50 year member of the Order of Eastern Stars Lewis Lodge.
Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville. Visitation was scheduled 4-8 p.m. Thursday, April 26, 2012 and 9 a.m. until service time Friday. Funeral Services were 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 27, 2012 at the funeral home with Rev. Thomas Turner and Pastor Dick Smith officiating.
Interment was at West Lawn Cemetery in Farmersburg, IN.
In lieu of flowers contributions were made to Shiloh Assembly of God Church.
