SONDRA SUE (DILLON) PITTMAN VILLAIN, 82, of Eastland, TX, formerly of Jasonville, IN passed away Saturday, September 11, 2021.
She was born June 29, 1939 in Vincennes, IN to Raymond Dillon and Ruby (Howerton) Dillon.
Survivors include her children, Raymond Pittman (Janet) of Jasonville, IN, Mark Pittman of Jasonville, IN, Ally Pittman (Dianna) of Jasonville, IN, Cindy Burleson (Burt) of Eastland, TX; grandchildren – 15; great-grandchild – 31; great-great-grandchild – 1.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond & Ruby Dillon; first husband, Harold Pittman, whom she married June 16, 1956; second husband, Otto Villain, whom she married December 5, 1981; daughter, Madonna Phillips; sister, Judy Pace; great-granddaughter, Lilly Haas; her best friend, Rose Pierce.
Sonnie loved spending time with her family and enjoyed having a full house to cook for. Her door was always open to family and neighborhood kids. She enjoyed movie nights and slumber partys with her grandkids and was always excited to welcome a new baby into the family. Sonnie also enjoyed going to bingo with her best friend Rosie Pete, crocheting blankets for the new babies and loved playing cards. She will be missed by many who called her Mom, Grandma and friend.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from 1 to 3 P.M. Sunday, September 19, 2021 at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services are immediately following at 3 P.M. with Bro. Don Pierce officiating.
Interment will be at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, IN at a later date.
