LAURA STIFFLER, 88, of Jasonville, Indiana and formerly of Indianapolis passed away at 12:10 a.m. Tuesday, March 6, 2018 in Shakamak Good Samaritan Center, Jasonville, IN.  

She was born January 28, 1930 in Jasonville, Indiana to John Keagy and Ertice (Burger) Keagy.

Survivors include her children, Annie Estelle (Scotty) of Indianapolis, Robert Irons of Sullivan; grandchildren, Julie (Soncrant) Prindiville, Kevin Irons (Rhonda), Matt Estelle, Eric Estelle (Amber); great-grandchildren, John Lee, Mark, Laura Sue, Mollie, Jessie, Emilie, Emily, Thomas, Nathan, Isaac; great-great-granddaughter, Kinsley; brother, Bill Keagy of Bloomfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wayne A. Stiffler on February 2, 1982; son, John Irons; daughter, Jamie Soncrant; son-in-law, Toby Soncrant; 5 siblings.

Laura graduated from Jasonville High School Class of 1947. She retired from General Electric after 35 years of service. Laura enjoyed 22 blissful years of retirement. She had a super-green-thumb and could grow anything. Her number-one love was her family and she enjoyed all the time she spent with them. Laura liked to read, work cross-word and jig-saw puzzles. Laura will be greatly missed by her family and friends who dearly loved her.

Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, IN; coxfuneralhomejasonville.com. Visitation was scheduled from 11 to 2 Friday at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services immediately followed visitation at 2 p.m. Friday, March 9, 2018 with Pastor Jonathan Heard officiating.

Private Family Interment was at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, IN.
