SUSAN SICKORA, 64, of Freelandville, Indiana passed away at 11:16 p.m. Monday, January 21, 2019 in Prairie Village Nursing and Rehab in Washington, IN.
She was born October 5, 1954 in Sullivan, IN to Mervin Walter Padgett and Wilda (Cassle) Padgett.
Survivors include her children, Shawn Padgett (Crystal) of Jasonville, Charlotte Brock (Billy) of Jasonville, Lettitia Sharp (Michael McKinney) of Freelandville; grandchildren, Gavin Padgett, Kayla Padgett, Kiana McKinney, Jesse McKinney, Anthony Posie, Jacob Posie; brother, Walter Lee Padgett (Nancy) of Farmersburg, twin sister, Sally Newell of Palestine, IL; nieces and nephews, Melissa, Chad, Ronnie, Bobby, Amy; much extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Susan was a homemaker and had worked various jobs through the years. She had attended the Masadonia Baptist Church. She was a hard worker and liked collecting angels. Susan liked being around the ones she loved and her grandbabies were her everything.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from 10 to 2 Friday at the Cox Funeral Home. Funeral Services will immediately follow visitation at 2 p.m. Friday, January 25, 2019 at the Cox Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Messmer officiating.
Interment will be at Center Ridge Cemetery in Sullivan, IN.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Susan to the Cox Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
