TAMMY LYNN (MASON) SAMM, 50, of Jasonville, IN passed away at 11:09 a.m. Sunday, August 24, 2025 in Shelburn, IN.
She was born September 17, 1974 in Terre Haute, IN to Sammy J. Mason and Linda K. Mason.
Survivors include her loving and devoted husband who she met 31 years ago and married 28 years ago, Robert D. “Rob” Samm of Jasonville, IN; children, Kelsey L. Jackson (Chance) of Farmersburg, IN, Jadyn I. Samm (Courtney) of Merom, IN; grandchildren, Bristol, River, Kayo, Alyxandria, Braeleigh, Kaiden, Bentley, Zuri; mother, Linda K. Mason of Terre Haute, IN; siblings, Samantha Douglas of Terre Haute, IN, Brittany Wilson (Lummie) of Terre Haute, IN; nieces and nephews; Heavenly, Brooklyn, Kalynn, Max, Sammie, Bryten, Jeremiah, Brooklyn, Mariah, Scottie, Shalyn and other nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Sammy Jo Mason; grandmother, Maxine Mason; mother in-law, Janice Samm; brother in-law, Buddy Douglas.
Tammy graduated from High School, Cosmetology School and attended Ivy Tech College. She worked at Union Hospital as an EKG Tech, before that she was a hairdresser doing hair mostly in nursing homes and assisted living residences. She was an active member of Westside Church Family, along with her husband Rob and their family. Tammy’s great love was her kids and grandkids and being at all their activities and events. She also loved the time spent with her special friends and co-workers. She was known for her compassionate-caring-generous heart. Tammy really enjoyed her long country road jeep rides and driving to her favorite place in Mansfield to the covered bridge to catch the sunsets and capture them on camera. She enjoyed time on the beach and sharing her tattoos. She was a big Chicago Cubs Fan.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, August 29, 2025 and Noon to 2 p.m. Saturday August 30, 2025 at Westside Church Family 949 W. County Rd 200 N., Sullivan, IN 47882. Services are immediately following at 2 p.m. with Pastor Jason Jones officiating.
Interment will be at Friendly Grove Cemetery in Lewis, IN.
