TERRY WAYNE WALLISA, 65, of Linton, Indiana passed away at 7:18 p.m. Wednesday, August 29, 2018 in his residence.

He was born April 14, 1953 in Greene County, IN to Wayne Harding Wallisa and Jewel Irene (Anderson) Wallisa.

Survivors include his wife, Tanya J. (Zimmerman) Wallisa of Linton who he married on April 5, 1980; children, Amy Lynn Romine (Carl Troy) of Lewis, Terry Jo Wallisa of Terre Haute; grandchildren that live with Terry & Tanya, Logan Storm Miller and Dakota Rain Miller; other grandchildren are, Melidian Kane Maze (Raven) and Brazen Ray Maze of Dugger and Blayne Lee Wallisa of Shelburn; siblings, Sherry Norris Reule (Jim) of Newark, IN, Tanya Ferris (Howard) of Jasonville, Rose Shouse (Terry) of Linton, Dan Wallisa (Rhonda) of Loogootee, Van Wallisa (Vicky) of Jasonville, Jane Wallisa of Jasonville, Jan Wallisa of Linton; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Brigham Wallisa.

Terry earned his Master’s Degree in small appliances. He had worked construction and also worked for the Milwaukee Railroad, Atlas Railroad, International Laborers of North America Local #204, Pioneer, Walmart, Kelly-Hill Railroad in Crane and a Security Officer for Peabody Hawthorne Mine.

He attended many churches in the area-God turned his life around and sent him on a better path. He liked hunting, fishing, trapping, mushroom hunting and swimming. He enjoyed working on cars, working with wood and building bird houses. He loves his rock and hero-Jesus Christ.

Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from 11 to 1 Tuesday. Funeral Services will immediately follow visitation at 1 p.m. Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at the Cox Funeral Home.

Interment will be at K of P Cemetery in Hymera, IN.
