THELMA “JEAN” CORNELIUS, 87, of Hymera, IN passed away at 12 – Noon Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at her home in Hymera, IN.
She was born October 31, 1932 in Four Mile, KY to Everett Daffron and Beatrice (Combs) Walters.
Survivors include her children, Annette Marlow/Grissom of Hymera, IN, Patricia Schmidlin of Terre Haute, IN, Henry Cornelius (Jennifer) of Lake Village, IN, Cathy Miller of Farmersburg, IN, Everett Cornelius (Tina) of Prairie Creek, IN; grandchildren – 21; great-grandchildren — 40; great-great-grandchildren – 4.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Henry Cornelius; brother, 3- Granddaughters.
Jean was a homemaker, but also worked as a waitress and a caregiver. She enjoyed crocheting and watching westerns. She loved her family and family gatherings.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from 1 P.M. to 3 P.M. Saturday at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services are 3 P.M. Saturday, July 25, 2020 with Billy Stines – great-grandson officiating.
Interment will be at K of P Cemetery in Hymera, IN.
