TOM J. MILLER, 66, of Jasonville, IN passed away at 3:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 17, 2025.
He was born September 28, 1959 in Linton, IN to Jerry Miller and Linda Miller (Burger).
Tom married his high school sweetheart, Penny S. Reed September 15, 1984. The couple celebrated 41 years of marriage.
Survivors include his wife, Penny S. Miller of Jasonville, IN; daughters, Jamie Weir of Sullivan, IN, and Lindsey Hedden (Anthony) of Jasonville, IN; grandchildren, Corey Shelton, Talon Spillman, KoenSpillman, Jalyn Weir, Mason Hedden; father, Jerry Miller of Jasonville, IN; brothers, Darrell Miller (Teana) of Jasonville, IN and Mark Miller of Jasonville, IN; several nieces and nephews; and his best friend, Doug Daugherty (Nancy) of Jasonville, IN.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Miller; and mother-in-law Judy Elledge.
Tom graduated from Shakamak High School in the Class of 1978. He went on to work in the Research and Development department at Ampacet in Terre Haute. When Tom was not at work, he could be found doing yard work, working on vehicles in his garage with 70’s Rock ‘N Roll cranked up or spending time with his grandkids.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, December 21, 2025 and Monday, December 22, 2025 11:00 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Funeral Home with Funeral Services to follow at 1:00 p.m. officiated by Pastor Tracy Hamilton.
Interment will be at Peavey Cemetery in Jasonville, IN.
