VICKIE L. MATTOX, 60, of Jasonville, IN passed away at 9:05 P.M. Friday, November 25, 2022 in Glenburn Nursing Home in Linton, IN.
She was born November 21, 1962 in Terre Haute, IN to Robert L. Mattox and Mary A. (Coffin) Mattox.
Survivors include her children, Natasha Sherman (Jim) of Jasonville, IN, Shawnna Austin (Wayne) of Bloomfield, IN; grandchildren, Kodi Sherman (Josh), Delayni Butt (Levi), Kaylee Sullivan, Hailynn Sullivan, Elizabeth Sullivan, Johnathan Mellinger, Tamarra Austin, Dylan Sherman (Patience), Hunter Sherman (Mikki), Kalieb Sherman (Kyleigh); great-grandchildren, Bryson Dicus, Zaryn Dicus, Kennadi Butt, Karsen Butt, Kamarie Butt, Ezikle Sherman, Heavenly Sherman, Azzy Sherman, Xavienna Sherman, Desire Sherman; brother, Brandon L. Mattox (Laura) of Center Point, IN; sister, Sonnie Mattox of Riley, IN; step-mother, Mary Mattox of Riley, IN .
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Vickie graduated from Terre Haute South High School. She graduated from Ivy Tech with an Associates Degree in Computer Science. The last job Vickie had was with Casey’s. She enjoyed collecting tiger figurines. Her greatest love was spending time with her children and grandchildren, she also enjoyed yard selling.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from Noon to 2 P.M. Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at the Funeral Home. Services are immediately following at 2 P.M with Vincent House officiating. In keeping with Vickie’s wishes cremation will be scheduled.
