VICKIE L. REHMEL, 69, of Jasonville, IN passed away at 4:28 A.M. Monday, August 10, 2020 in her home in Jasonville.
She was born June 1, 1951 in Clay County, IN to Robert Rehmel and Pauline (Bicard) Rehmel.
Survivors include her god-daughter, Mandy Vanatti of Indianapolis, IN; siblings, Bill Rehmel (Sonny) of Jasonville, IN, Linda Sharp of Hymera, IN, Sandy Goble of Shelburn, IN, Judy White of Shelburn, IN, Larry Rehmel (Jacque) of Jasonville, IN; several nieces and nephews and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Robert “Son” Rehmel Jr., sister, Shirley Rissler, Sharon Vanatti a true friend.
Vickie graduated Shakamak High School Class of 1969, she worked at Columbia House for over 20 years and later at Caseys as a cook. Vickie liked to sew, work puzzles and do craft work.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. In keeping with Vickie’s wishes cremation is scheduled with no services. Interment will be at Peavey Cemetery in Howesville, IN at a later date.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Vickie to Kindred Hospice, 2901 Ohio Boulevard, Suite 116, Terre Haute, IN 47802. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
