VIRGINIA L. (WOODS) WEAVER, 77, of Hymera, IN passed away at 5:55 P.M. Tuesday, December 8, 2020 in her home surrounded by her family.
She was born August 18, 1943 in Sullivan County, IN to Lester Woods and Delores (Malone) Woods.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Kenny Weaver of Hymera, IN who she married on August 6, 1960; children, Terri Sutliff (Steve) of Jasonville, IN, Mark Weaver (Lora) of Farmersburg, IN, Christal Kinnett (Todd) of Hymera, IN; grandchildren, Lindsay Eskew, Cullen Goodman, Ashley Swalls (Darrin), Shelby Tharp (William), Nolan Kinnett (Corinne), Logan Kinnett, Nick Kinnett; great-grandchildren, Alyssa Goodman, Jensen Goodman, Paisley Wright, Zoey Swalls, Berkley Swalls, Wesley Tharp, Adley Tharp and twins on the way; brothers, Paul (Vern) Woods (Judy) of Dugger, IN, Gary Woods (Brenda) of Hymera, IN; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Jackie Ray Woods, great-grandchildren, Braxton Crawford and Mallory Tharp.
Virginia enjoyed shopping with her daughters and playing bingo. She loved attending sporting events to cheer on her children and grandchildren. Virginia supported her husband and grandsons racing stock cars.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from 11 A.M. to 2 P.M. Friday at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services are 2 P.M. Friday, December 11, 2020 with Pastor Tom Turner officiating.
Interment will be at K of P Cemetery in Hymera, IN.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be given in memory of Virginia to her family. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
