HELEN MARIE WAGGONER, 76, of Coalmont, Indiana passed away at 4:48 a.m. Monday, October 6, 2014 in Shakamak Good Samaritan Nursing Center, Jasonville, IN.
She was born August 4, 1938 in Terre Haute, IN to William Edward Harris and Thelma (Wilson) Harris.
Survivors include her son, Otho M. Waggoner, III of Coalmont, IN; grandchildren, Natasha & Joshua Kernes, Nicole & Jesse Mellinger; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers & sisters-in-law, William & Carol Harris Jr. of Pimento, IN, David & Anita Harris of Lewis, IN, Floyd Harris of Shelburn, IN; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Otho M. Waggoner II who she married December 24, 1957 and he passed away June 21, 1996; brothers, Delbert Harris, Robert C. Harris.
Helen was a homemaker. She was a member of the Coalmont Baptist Church and O.E.S. Lodge of Lewis, IN.
Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. No visitation was scheduled. Graveside Services were 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at Winter Cemetery in Owen County, IN with Pastor Brad West officiating.
