BRIGHAM “WALLY” DAVID WALLISA, 66, of Jasonville, Indiana passed away at 10:39 p.m. Thursday, June 4, 2015 in his residence.

He was born August 30, 1948 in Sullivan, IN to Wayne Wallisa and Jewell (Anderson) Wallisa.

Survivors include his wife, Judy I. (West) Wallisa of Jasonville, IN whom he married on September 2, 1972; sons & daughters-in-law, Eric & Melissa Wallisa of Indianapolis, IN, Shaun & Johanna Wallisa of Carmel, IN; granddaughters, Grace Wallisa, Gabrielle Wallisa; sisters & brothers-in-law, Sherry Norris-Reule & Jim of Solsberry, IN, Tanya & Howard Ferris of Jasonville, IN, Rose & Terry Shouse of Linton, IN, Jane Noe of Shelburn, IN, Jan Wallisa of Farmersburg, IN; brothers & sisters-in-law, Terry Wayne & Tonya Wallisa of Linton, IN, Van & Vicki Wallisa of Linton, IN, Dan & Rhonda Wallisa of Loogootee, IN; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Brigham graduated from Shakamak High School Class of 1966, Jasonville, IN. He joined the U.S. Air Force and served from July 13, 1966 to July 10, 1970. Brigham worked at Dugger Coal Mine from 1979 to 2003. He retired September 3, 2003. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hymera,

Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation was scheduled from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. until service time Monday at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services were 11 a.m. Monday, June 8, 2015 at the Cox Funeral Home with Pastor Brad West officiating.

Interment was at K of P Cemetery in Hymera, IN with Military Graveside Rites.

Contributions were made in memory of Brigham Wallisa to The American Heart Association. Envelopes were available at the funeral home.
