BEULAH E. “BOOTS” WALTERS, 91, of Sullivan and formerly of Jasonville, IN passed away at 10:56 a.m. Saturday, August 30, 2014 in Sullivan County Community Hospital.
She was born October 2, 1922 in Sullivan County, IN to Earl Robertson and Lula (Cox) Robertson.
Boots married Kenneth E. Walters on September 14, 1946 and he passed away on September 3, 1997.
Survivors include her nieces and nephews; Linda & Tom Taylor of Farmersburg, IN, Kay Ballard of Jasonville, IN, Karen Bonham of Dugger, IN, Sherry & Gary Napier of Sullivan, IN, Patricia McCollough of Indianapolis, IN, Nola Watters of Jasonville, IN, Ralph & Tina Johnson of Jasonville, IN, Tom & Jill Johnson of Jasonville, IN, Earl & Carolyn Robertson of Linton, IN, Dorothy Brock of Bicknell, IN, Shirley Siler of Avon, IN; many great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; siblings, Leon Robertson, Donald Robertson, Ruel Robertson, Marie Haskett, Geneva Johnson; nephew, Dewayne Johnson.
Boots had worked at Crane, Formfit and TRW. She was a member of the Jasonville Assembly of God Church. She really enjoyed camping and also enjoyed squirrel hunting. Beulah did a lot of hand crafts.
Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana with Visitation scheduled from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. service time Friday at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services were 11 a.m. Friday, September 5, 2014 at the Cox Funeral Home with Pastor Sam Bush and Doug Napier officiating.
Interment was at Antioch Cemetery in rural Dugger, IN.
